Dr. Makeba Williams practices in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UI Health. Dr. Williams specializes in helping women navigate perimenopause and menopause with confidence and clarity. She cares for patients dealing with hot flashes, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, low libido, and other symptoms of the menopause transition, including women whose menopause was brought on early by cancer treatment.

Dr. Williams takes time to understand each patient's full health picture, listens first, and partners with her patients to build a care plan that reflects their own goals and values. She is especially attentive to how a woman's background and life experiences shape her menopause journey, and she is committed to ensuring every patient feels seen, respected, and confident in her care.
